Each spring, the WHS orchestra student base elects hardworking peers to lead them in the following school year. Officers are required to meet on a biweekly basis to discuss upcoming events and work in tandem with the Orchestra Guild to create an optimal and enjoyable experience for the entire Warren Strings community.

Roles/expectations:
President and Vice President:
These students serve as the student heads of the orchestra, delegate the roles of other officers, and organize big picture ideas/events for the coming year. They also work with Mr. J on running the website and facilitating student/parent outreach.
Secretary:
This officer takes notes of vital information discussed during meetings and distributes it to his/her fellow leaders. The secretary is also often in charge of making the concert brochures.
Librarian(s):
These officer(s) help organize and distribute any music performed by the orchestra, making copies and maintaining the tidiness of the Warren Orchestra Library.
Fundraising Officer(s):
These student(s) are responsible for the financial status of the Warren Orchestra. If two are elected, one is often assigned to conduct fundraising operations while the other focuses on working in conjunction with the Orchestra Guild.
Social Media Officer:
This student is in charge of the orchestra’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts in order to facilitate news and outreach regarding the program.
Recruiter(s):
Last but not least, the recruiting officers focus on bolstering the incoming student flow to orchestra. They organize visits to middle schools to perform and inform, spreading awareness of our program to encourage membership.
