Classes:<\/mark><\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1st Period – Orchestra Class<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3rd Period – Varsity Orchestra Class<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4th Period – Orchestra Class<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5th Period – Beginners Orchestra Class<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6th Period – Orchestra Class<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expectations:<\/mark><\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The following are the guidelines to a successful rehearsal. These guidelines should be followed at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. A student will be seated in their proper chair, ready to rehearse when class starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Concert attention will be observed when the director is at the podium, ready to conduct. No further group talking will be permitted during the rehearsal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Members should bring the following to each rehearsal: instrument, all music, and a pencil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. All school books and cases should be left in the student\u2019s instrument locker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Absolutely no gum, food, or drinks are allowed in the orchestra room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. If you must enter a rehearsal late, make sure the group has stopped playing to take your seat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. If your instrument is in the shop, please bring a note from home. You are still expected to participate in class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. We will have some after school\/before school rehearsals, these rehearsals are Mandatory, all students must attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discipline:<\/mark><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All discipline problems will be handled on an individual basis; however, the following school guidelines will be adhered to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. First offense: Student will receive a verbal warning from the director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Second offense: The director will contact the student\u2019s parent or guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Third offense: Student will be referred to the Warren administration for disciplinary action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. For repeated violations and classroom disruptions, a student may be removed from the orchestra program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
