{"id":104,"date":"2015-06-10T19:47:21","date_gmt":"2015-06-11T00:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.southtexasdiecast.com\/warrenstrings\/?page_id=104"},"modified":"2025-08-04T20:43:31","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T01:43:31","slug":"orchestra-director","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/warrenstrings.org\/?page_id=104","title":{"rendered":"Orchestra Director"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Earl Warren Orchestra is directed by the Wisconsin-born <b>Darrell Jalowiec<\/b>, a former Marine with a Master&#8217;s degree in music education from Texas A&amp;M University &#8211; Kingsville as well as a Master&#8217;s in education from Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An eccentric but efficient instructor, &#8220;Mr. J&#8221; is often cited by the students of Warren High School as being hardworking, punctual, hilarious, and charismatic. He has taught orchestra for 26 years, including a 6-year stint in Corpus Christi as well as his current 20-year tenure with Northside ISD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His primary instrument is the Double Bass. However, he can play all of the other orchestral instruments Warren has to offer: violin, viola, cello, and piano.
